Community Trainers offers courses from ECSI (Emergency Care & Safety Institute), Red Cross and American Heart Association.
The Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) is an internationally renowned organization that provides training and certifications that meet job-related requirements as defined by regulatory authorities such as OSHA, JCAHO, and state offices of EMS, Education, Transportation, and Health. Our courses are delivered worldwide, including colleges and universities, business and industry, government, public safety agencies, hospitals, private training companies, and secondary school systems. Community Trainers is a registered Educational Center for ECSI.
About Red Cross
The Red Cross offers a wide selection of CPR/AED, first aid, lifeguarding, swimming and water safety, caregiving, disaster response and emergency preparedness training. Red Cross training meets OSHA guidelines and many other professional and regulatory standards. We also offer continuing education units (CEUs) in conjunction with IACET. Community Trainer staff are registered instructors with the American Red Cross.
American Heart Association
Through medical advancements in the treatment of cardiovascular disease and sound training on lifesaving skills, the American Heart Association’s Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Programs increase survival rates and quality of life. The Northern Virginia/Washington DC office of Community Trainers teaches the American Heart Association classes through affiliated training centers.
